All payments for private lessons are due on the first of the month, every month. These payments are not refundable for any reason. Late payments carry a $30 late fee. After seven days, if a payment has not been received, the student will permanently lose their lesson slot.

 

Due to the busy schedules of our instructors, make-up lessons are not provided in cases of student absences, even if they are known ahead of time.  

 

There will be an updated student list available to all private students, with lesson times and contact information for every current private student. If a student cannot attend their regular lesson time for any reason, it is his/her responsibility to switch lesson times with another student. If this cannot be accomplished, the student forfeits his/her lesson.

 

New students must pay for the entire month of lessons before they are officially put into the schedule. If a new student joins mid-month, their first payment will be prorated for that month. If that student elects to continue with his/her lessons after the first month, payments are always due on the first of each month, in full for the entire month.

 

Students (or their representative parents/guardians) who intend on discontinuing their lessons must give notice no later than the 15th of their final month. Missing this deadline will result in being charged for the following month.

 

Again, payments for all lessons are non-refundable, except in cases where the instructor cancels, and an alternative lesson time cannot be scheduled. Student understands that he/she forfeits his/her lesson payment for any absence, regardless of the reason.

 

In these situations every teacher has a different policy. Make sure to contact your teacher regarding make-ups and/or refunds or credits.
